5 classical ballet for 5 leotards
Diamonds
Balanchine's Jewels is a dazzling trio of ballets, each inspired by a different gemstone. While "Emeralds" evokes the romanticism of the French ballet and "Rubies" captures the vibrant energy of jazz, "Diamonds" celebrates the rich tradition of Russian classical ballet. Set to Tchaikovsky's Third Symphony, this final movement showcases the grandeur and technical brilliance of Russian dance. Drawing inspiration from the opulent third section of Balanchine's Jewels, the leotard Diamonds is adorned with exquisite details that reflect the grandeur and elegance of Russian ballet. The design celebrates the rich heritage of the Mariinsky Theatre, where the highest standards of classical dance are upheld.

Giselle
Giselle is a romantic ballet pantomime in two acts with music by Adolphe Adam. Considered a masterwork in the classical ballet performance canon, it was first performed by the Ballet du Théâtre de l'Académie Royale de Musique at the Salle Le Peletier in Paris on 28 June 1841, with Italian ballerina Carlotta Grisi as Giselle. It was an unqualified triumph. It became hugely popular and was staged at once across Europe, Russia, and the United States.
At the heart of the French ballet masterpiece, Giselle, lies the tale of a kind and naive woman. Her love of dance and kindness is celebrated in the exquisite Giselle leotard. The flowing design and ethereal fabrics evoke the character's joy and freedom of movement, making it the perfect choice for dancers who wish to feel like the belle of the ball.

Aurora
In 1890, the story of The Sleeping Beauty emerged from the illustrated pages of fairy tale books to materialise on the stage of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg and thus become one of the best-loved romantic ballets of all time. The story of Princess Aurora, who falls into a deep, hundred-year long sleep waiting to be awoken by a kiss from her true love, inspired the creation of the Aurora leotard. Inspired by the elegance of the princess Aurora, this leotard features a regal design and stunning embroidery. The brilliant colors evoke the magic of the fairytale ballet.
Tatiana
Onegin, ballet by choreographer John Cranko in three acts to music by Pyotr I'ič Tchaikovsky orchestrated by Kurt-Heinz Stolze is inspired by Aleksandr Pushkin's verse drama Evgenij Onegin, published in 1833. Besides being one of the British choreographer's most successful works, this ballet can, according to some critics, be considered his masterpiece because it delicately reconstructs the inner travails of the characters. The role of the protagonist Tatiana is among the most challenging today, as she represents a character with a tormented life characterized by profound inner growth: she is first a young and idealistic country girl, then a mature woman and finally a great woman of high society. The depth of this character inspired the conception of the leotard Tatiana of this Étoile Collection.

Carmen
Carmen Suite is the one-act ballet created by Cuban choreographer Alberto Alonso, founder of the Ballet Nacional de Cuba. Bizet's music was arranged here by Russian composer Rodion Shchedrin. The dancer Maya Plisetskaya, wife of the latter, was the star at the premiere of the show at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow on 20 April 1967. In 2005, two years before his death, Alonso created a version of Carmen Suite for the legendary Svetlana Zakharova. The confident and alluring nature of the main character is captured in the striking design of the Carmen leotard, conceived by the celebrated étoile Olga Smirnova.
